Autorităţile georgiene au afirmat că aparate de zbor ruseşti au încălcat spaţiul aerian al Georgiei două zile consecutiv, miercuri şi joi, şi au denunţat acest gest al Moscovei ca pe unul provocator şi care încalcă normele fundamentale şi a principiilor de drept internaţional, a relatat joi seara BBC în limba rusă, în pagina sa electronică.
Ministerul de Externe georgian a menţionat, într-o declaraţie, că o dronă rusă, "de la baza instalată ilegal de Rusia în zona Ţhinvali" (Osetia de Sud) a încălcat spaţiul aerian al Georgiei în data de 9 decembrie şi a survolat punctele de control ale Ministerului de Interne georgian din împrejurimile oraşului Gori (76 km vest de Tbilisi), precum şi localităţile Koşka şi Gugutiantkari.
Joi, un elicopter militar rus Mi-8, tot de la baza rusă din Ţhinvali, a intrat în mod ilegal, în jurul orei locale 12:48, în spaţiul aerian al Georgiei, potrivit MAE de la Tbilisi.

A US Air Force spy plane has reportedly violated Swedish airspace twice in order to escape Russian fighter jets.
According to Swedish media outlets, US Air Force RC-135 Rivet Joint spy plane was fleeing Russian jets that rose to intercept the plane as it was conducting a spying operation over the Baltic Sea near Russia on July 18.
The Swedish newspaper DN reported that the US spy plane entered Swedish airspace without permission and flew as far as the island of Gotland. Only after it passed over Gotland, the spy plane turned southwards to enter international airspace.
However, the US plane – a four-engine Boeing with sensitive receivers for detecting radar signals and other electronic emissions – violated Swedish airspace for a second time as it flew over east of the island of Oland for some minutes.
The Rivet Joint crew had asked Swedish authorities for permission to enter Swedish airspace but were denied entry.

Venezuelan Defence Minister Vladimir Padrino said on Sunday that a US plane had violated the South American country's airspace.
Speaking on television, Gen Padrino said the plane had entered Venezuelan airspace near the Los Monjes archipelago on the Caribbean coast.
The general alleged that the plane belonged to the US Coast Guard.

The United States apologized for violating Venezuela's airspace Nov. 6, claiming the U.S. intelligence airplane was on an anti-drug operation.
“We admit it and offer our apologies,” the chief of the U.S. Southern Command John Kelly stated Wednesday, arguing the aircraft had allegedly been pursuing a vessel reportedly believed to be transporting a ton of cocaine.

A formation of six Turkish fighter jets breached Greek air space on Thursday, Dec 3. Two of the aircraft were armed, Greek military officials said.
The incursions into Greek air space occurred in the northeastern, central and southeastern Aegean.
All the planes were detected and intercepted.

The Border Guard on Tuesday confirmed the August 23 violation of Finnish air space by two American C-17 Air Force transport aircraft.
At the end of preliminary investigations, the Border Guard said the planes went as far as 20 kilometres into Finnish airspace.
The planes, however, did not fly over the Åland Islands demilitarised zone.
Meanwhile, the United States on Tuesday apologised for the violation of Finnish air space by its aircraft.
The US embassy to Helsinki in a statement also announced that the US greatly appreciates strong bilateral cooperation with Finland.
