Pension fund AZT - Viitorul tau, attracted the largest number of subscribers in 2009 - English section

     Private pension fund "AZT Viitorul Tău", managed by "Allianz-Ţiriac Pensii Private", has attracted the largest number of direct subscribers, throughout 2009, as well as in the entire subscription campaign which began in May 2008, according to statistics published by CNPAS (National Pension and Other State Social Security Rights Department), presented in a press release by "Allianz-Ţiriac Pensii Private".
     Last year, over 15,000 customers have opted for the fund managed by "Allianz-Ţiriac Pensii Private", or a total of 29.5% of the total. The trend remained intact in the first month of 2010, when the fund "AZT Viitorul Tău" attracted over 1,200 new subscribers (31.3% of the total number of subscribers).
     "AZT Viitorul Tău" is also the leader for the entire adhesion period (May 2008 - January 2010), in terms of direct subscribers: also 27,000 participants, or 25.1% of the total. The company officials mention that the information presented refer to direct subscribers and do not include customers switching over from other funds or coming in from the random distribution procedure.
     The fund "AZT Viitorul Tău" currently has over 1,257,000 customers, of which 93% have made at least one payment, and manages roughly 586 million lei in net assets, or the equivalent of approximately 25% of the market.
