EnglishA quarter of the 9,000 apparel producers in Romania have their own brands, according to the Romanian Fashion and Design Association (AMDR) president Liliana Turoiu Udrea quoted by Rompres. "Very many Romanian companies are making substantial sales with their own brands but make little efforts to promote those brands," she said while at the Modexpo Fashion Fair. The fair gathered 140 companies (90 Romanian) from Bulgaria, India, Italy, Turkey, Hungary, France, Greece, Poland, Portugal and Slovenia.
