EnglishAlpha Bank România is launching a campaign targeted at homeowner associations, by offering a package which includes a current account with deposit-like interest rate and other ancillary facilities, according to a press release issued by the bank.
The current account for homeowner associations that Alpha Bank is offering as part of its Alpha Administrator campaign, provides permanent access to funds, as well as interest calculated daily, according to the press release. The account can be opened in lei or in Euros. Subject to the value of the deposit, the interest rate can go as high as 11,50% a year for accounts in lei and up to 4,25% a year for accounts in Euros. Funds are available at any time, without losing the accrued interest.
There are no fees for opening the account or for withdrawals, and there are no other fees except the ones levied by the National Bank of Romania for regular operations (depositing funds, making or receiving payments).
Homeowner associations that choose this type of current account will get free access to the Alpha Click Internet Banking Service which allows the payment of utility bills and other payments specific for homeowner associations by using the computer, thus eliminating the need for at-the-counter payments for the various bills.
