EnglishMineral water producer Apemin Tusnad, Harghita, reported a turnover of 19,841,240 RON for the first half of 2007, recording a 35% increase from the same period last year. The company"s gross profit rose by 150% from H1 2006, reaching 2,983,607 RON.
Apemin Tusnad has recently finalized a development project initiated last year, investments amounting to 6.5 million EUR. The company increased its production capacity to 42,000 liters/hour by acquiring a bottling line from Germany. Also, Apemin Tusnad has invested significant amounts in rebranding and the launching of a new product, the non-sparkling spring water Izvorul Zanelor.
Apemin Tusnad ended 2006 with a turnover of 30,953,489 RON, up 28% from the previous year. The company"s profit rose by 119% from 2005, totalling 2,134,717 RON.
