EnglishThe State Assets Recovery Authority (AVAS) is selling two Bucharest-based research institutes - ITC SA and Master SA - through negotiations based on technical offers. The technical offers will weigh 60 percent of the scoring range. "Very significant funds will be allocated to reasearch in 2007. Research institutes are becoming very attractive to investors as important European or governmental funds can be obtained for research projects. Master and ITC have been making nice profits for years," said AVAS president Teodor Atanasiu. AVAS is selling 69.92% in ITC and 66.68% in Master.
