EnglishGruppo Energia & Servici, an Italian company based in Rome, and Energia Eoliana Service SRL have unveiled plans to create wind energy production facilities in Iasi County. The plan is to start construction works early next year. The required investment is in the range of 30 million EUR per facility. Gheorghe Darie, head of Customer Relations for Energia Eoliana Service SRL said: "Our program started last year in 35 villages. Approximately 1 million EUR has already been invested in research in Bivolari, Popricani, Erbiceni, Baltati, Bals, Harlau, Cristesti, Ciohorani and Ruginoasa. Our plan is to invest in the entire Podisul Moldovei area. Specifically, in all counties in Moldova except Galati and Vrancea. We are focusing on wind energy, but we will also become involved in recycling and hydro power."
