EnglishJulius Baer International Equity Fund holds 5.72% in dairy producer Albalact Alba Iulia, according to a report to Rasdaq. On November 22nd the RC2 Cyprus Limited Fund reported a holding of 16.40% in Albalact, of which it sold a 6.35% stake (6 million shares) at 1.77 RON/share.
The company posted turnover of 102.107.766 RON for the fiscal year 2006, up 65% from the past year. Net profit nearly doubled, amounting to 6.024.614 RON (1.711.538 EUR). The company decided to add last year"s profit to reserves.
The significant shareholders are Ciurtin Petru and Ciurtin Raul, with 36.20% and respectively 16.03% in Albalact. The company has a share capital of 9.439.350,3 RON, divided into shares with a face value of 0.1 RON/share. Albalact is listed on Rasdaq as ALBZ.
