EnglishMenarom - Galati employees will be laid off in six stages until October 19th following the liquidation of the company. The 410 employees will receive unemployment benefits and severance payments as per the law. According to manager Gabriel Cristea, the layoffs have been scheduled in consideration of the deadlines for completing the last orders in various departments of the factory. Euro PEC, the company that bought Menarom through the liquidation process, promised to maintain the business and hire back most of the staff.
