UBB, research program for the treatment of chronic insomnia

The Babeş-Bolyai University (UBB) in Cluj-Napoca announces the launch of a new research project dedicated to the treatment of chronic insomnia, by evaluating the effectiveness of two scientifically validated psychological interventions. The initiative belongs to the Department of Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy of the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences and aims to improve the quality of sleep and daily functioning among the adult population in Romania.

Free access to scientifically validated treatments

Adults over 18 years of age can benefit free of charge from: rigorous clinical evaluation,

specialized support from clinical psychologists, a personalized clinical report (upon request).

Doctoral project with clinical applicability

The project is coordinated by psych. drd. Larisa Tînc, under the guidance of prof. univ. dr. Daniel David, and is part of the UBB strategic directions in the field of applied mental health. Participants are asked to complete an online questionnaire (15-20 minutes) and participate in a short telephone interview (5-10 minutes). Those eligible will be integrated into a psychological treatment program and monitored in the short and medium term.
