EnglishAircraft manufacturer Aerostar SA - Bacau almost doubled net profit in 2006 to 13,450,668 RON according to preliminary results. Last year"s turnover was 140,976,614 RON, up by 37.22% year-on-year, whereas operating revenues gained 36.33% to 143,786,393 RON.
Operating expenses climbed 28.93% to 126,759,422 RON. The company also reported fixed assets of 39,056,352 RON up by 71.04% from 2005. Receivables amounted to 7,582,347 RON, down by 34.08%. Aerostar has a share capital of 29,284,133 RON and is listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange as Tier II as ARS.
