Avicola - Buftea reported losses of 1.77 million RON in the first half of the year, up by 170% y/y. Revenues decreased by 20% to 9.91 million RON, whereas expenses decreased by 10.65% to 11.69 million RON. The turnover declined 2% to 10.58 million RON. Compared to the first half of 2007, stocks decreased by 28.26% to 3.01 million RON. At the end of June, debts totaled 9.4 million RON, whereas receivables stood at 4.73 million RON. The poultry farming company has a share capital of 3.2 million RON divided into shares with a face value of 2.5 RON. The majority shareholder is Waref-Rom with 91.19%. Avicola is listed on RASDAQ Tier III as AVBV since 13 January 1997.
