The Romanian National Securities Commission (CNVM) has approved the acquisition by "Veneto Banca Holding" SCPA, together with Banca Intermobiliare di Investimento e Gestatione SPA of a qualified concerted stake of 15% of the share capital and of the total voting rights of brokerage firm "SIGI", according to a decision published in the Bulletin of the Romanian National Securities Commission.
Veneto Banca Holding SCPA will be required to submit within 60 days with the CNVM the documents proving that it has acquired control of Banca Intermobiliare di Investimento e Gestatione SPA.
Last month, SIGI intermediated trades worth 187,438 lei, with a market share of 0.01%, according to information from the website of the Bucharest Stock Exchange.
