EnglishShareholders in Irpoeb SA Bistrita have approved the disbursement of over 30% of the company"s Y2006 net profit as dividends. The gross dividend was set at 0,098 RON/share, over 2,5 times higher than in the previous year, according to a company press release, quoted by NewsIn. Iproeb Bistrita concluded 2006 with a net profit of 12,97 million RON, of which 4 million RON will be paid out as dividends.
Shareholders have also approved a share capital increase by 1,363 million RON, from 10.,87 million RON to 12,23 million RON. Shareholders have subscribed for 4,54 million shares of the 7,15 million shares issued. The company manufactures optical and electrical cables. The majority shareholder is Electromontaj Bucharest with 28,72% in the company.
