Versiunea în limba română

Access to education is a right for absolutely everyone. The authorities have the obligation to facilitate access to the education process for members of all social categories. The Ministry of Education launched in public consultation a draft order regarding the accessibility of higher education for people with disabilities and/or with special educational requirements. "It is for the first time that a normative act is drawn up that aims to regulate the measures that higher education institutions can adopt for the provision of inclusion services in the academic environment for people with disabilities and/or with special educational requirements", say the representatives of the Ministry Education. At the same time, they claim, the project reflects the rights and obligations of people with disabilities and/or with special educational requirements. Among the rights provided for in this normative act are: places financed from the state budget, information and communication services to facilitate inclusion in the academic community, adapted access to the spaces of the higher education institution (educational spaces, administrative spaces, accommodation spaces and table, reading spaces, rooms for sports activities, etc.), access to information and educational resources in an adapted format, assistance services in carrying out didactic activities, adapted to individual needs, educational resources adapted to individual needs, access to non-formal activities /extracurricular organized by the higher education institution, scholarships. Other rights provided for in the project are admission and evaluation methods adapted to individual needs and support in identifying and carrying out specialized practice.
