EnglishMicro-enterprises and natural persons who perform independent activities will file and pay income and employment taxes on a quarterly basis starting 2007, according to the National Fiscal Administration Agency (ANAF). Previously, micro-enterprises and natural persons performing independent activities declared and paid taxes on a monthly basis.
Associations, foundations or other entities without a patrimonial purpose, except public institutions, will file and pay income and employment taxes annually starting this year.
The new tax payment deadlines for these categories of taxpayers were established in September 2006 by an amendment to the Fiscal Procedure Code.
