The Technology Transfer Center of the University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Craiova (CTT-UMFCv) has been accredited by the Ministry of Education and Research as a component entity of ReNITT - the National Network for Innovation and Technology Transfer, marking an important moment in the development of the national applied research infrastructure.

The accreditation reflects UMF Craiova's commitment to applied research and the promotion of public-private partnerships in the medical field. University representatives emphasize that this recognition confirms the role of CTT-UMFCv in connecting scientific research with the real needs of the healthcare system, especially in areas such as prevention, diagnosis and advanced treatments.
• Accredited services: from technology transfer to fiscal support for research
Among the specialized services offered by CTT-UMFCv, for which accreditation was obtained, are: Technology transfer of research results in the economic environment; Technology audit and consultancy for intellectual property; Assistance in digitization and innovation; Support for accessing fiscal facilities in research and development; Evaluation of scientific value for negotiation with economic partners.

"This recognition strengthens the position of UMF Craiova as a regional hub for health research and innovation. We want to offer researchers, startups and companies in the medical field a reliable partner on the way from idea to real impact", said the rector Dan Gheonea. In turn, Adina Turcu Ştiolică, director of CTT-UMFCv, emphasized that accreditation represents an essential step in the professionalization of technology transfer activity.
