EnglishThe privatization of SC Automobile Craiova SA has entered the final lap, according to PM Calin Popescu Tariceanu, who met with representatives of General Motors Europe, one of the entities interested in the Craiova-based carmaker. He said the State was going to sell 72.4% in the factory and that his ambition was to make this case into a success story. In his opinion, the strategic objective of this privatization case is to create a second robust carmaker entity in Romania.
