Car insurance (full and optional) accounted for 57.47%, followed by loan insurance with 30.49% and property insurance with 9.37%. Property insurance gained some 40% y/y, whereas accident insurance landed a significant 48% increment. Full car insurance (CASCO) advanced 42% y/y, whereas revenues from mandatory car insurance tripled to 110 million RON. BCR Asigurari has some 700,000 customers, of whom 87% are individuals. BCR Asigurari offers only non-life insurance.
