The BET index, reflecting the status of the ten most liquid shares on the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) declined 3.88% yesterday to 4,258.04 points. The BET-FI index, reflecting the shares in the five financial investment firms (SIF), lost 5.56% to 25,392.00 points, while the composite BET-C index reflecting all shares on BVB lost 2.74% to 3,235.74 points.BET-XT, which reflects the 25 most liquid shares on BVB, declined 4.41% to 445.78 points, while the BET-NG index, reflecting the shares in the ten energy companies on the BVB, decreased by 3.93% to 605.56 points. The overall liquidity of BVB reached 31.86 million RON, up by 108.9% from Monday. Shares in SIF5 Oltenia were the most liquid, with trading amounting to 7.63 million RON for 5.94 million shares. The reference price decreased by 7.19% to 1.28 RON/share. BRD - GSG shares were also quite liquid, with 464,842 shares taded for a total of 5.18 million RON and an average of 11.15 RON/share. SIF3 Transilvania shares decreased by 5.71% to 0.651 RON/share, following transactions of 2.13 million RON. SIF2 Moldova declined by 6.11% to 1.208 RON with trading of 4.73 million RON for 3.91 million shares. Some 7.53 million shares in Rompetrol Rafinare - Constanta (RRC) were traded for an average of 0.039 RON/share. The reference price increased by 2.68% from the previous day. Romcarbon - Buzau (ROCE) decreased the most severely, by 11.05% to 0.955 RON. Mecanica - Ceahlau - Piatra Neamt (MECF) decreased by 13.79% to 0.249 RON.
