EnglishThe market price of Transelectrica (TEL) shares gained 2% on the Bucharest Stock Exchange yesterday as 90,207 shares worth 3.6 million RON changed hands. Transelectrica called shareholders on March 12 to vote on a 52,760 RON increase in share capital, equal to the value of the land to which the company has recently obtained deeds. The new share capital will be 733,031,420 RON, divided into shares with a face value of 10 RON. Silviu Antonescu, from SSIF Harinvest, told Bursa that the TEL quotations had been positively influenced by the share capital increase announcement.
