EnglishCarbid Fox SA - Tarnaveni, which became bankrupt in April, posted Y2006 losses of 15 million RON, up by 28% from 2005, and a 33% setback in turnover, according to an announcement published in the Official Gazette quoted by NewsIn.
Last year"s gross losses amounted to 15.02 million RON (4.26 million EUR), whereas the Y2005 losses totaled 11.7 million RON (3.2 million EUR). Last year"s turnover amounted to 32.12 million RON (10.8 million EUR) down by 33% from the 56.54 million RON (15.6 million EUR) posted in 2005.
The Targu Mures Court on April 2nd pronounced the bankruptcy of Carbid Fox SA (BSE:CRB) following the impossibility to settle the debts to Electrica SA and other creditors. Production was stopped in January 2006, when the electricity supplier pulled the plug over largely overdue bills.
