EnglishShareholders in Carpatica Bank have contributed nearly 24 million RON (7 million EUR) to the increase in the bank"s share capital to some 139 million RON (40.8 million EUR), according to a press release quoted by NewsIn. The subscription period ended on January 19th. The existing shareholders subscriber 99.46 percent of the available 240 million shares with a face value of 0.1 RON plus a bonus of 0.05 RON/share. Carpatica Bank has 208 branches, nearly 200 ATMs and 18 forex ATMs. Nine months through 2006, the bank posted a net profit of 16.07 million RON (4.55 million EUR). At the end of last year, the bank had a market share of 0.95%.
