EnglishConstruction company Comnord Bucharest posted a net profit of 13.96 million RON (4.46 million EUR), up 9.3 times from 1.5 million RON in the same period last year, according to a company press release. Turnover amounted to 130.34 million RON (41.59 million EUR), up 2.23 times from 58.34 million RON in the same period last year.
Operating profit amounted to 16.49 million RON, as compared with 1.8 million RON in H1/06. Overall revenues rose 2.14 times to 131.95 million RON. Total expenses amounted to 115.3 million RON, recording a 93% increase from the same period last year.
The company has a share capital of 4 million RON, divided into 40 million shares with a face value of 0.10 RON. The majority shareholder in Comnord is Sorin Creteanu with 56.22%, followed by Naveco Ltd (33.36%) and Sterie Tivichi (6.14%).
