The Ministry of Education announced the calendar for the organization and conduct of the national exam for finalization in pre-university education for the school year 2024 - 2025. According to the calendar, the registration of candidates will take place until October 10. "Important for the teachers who take the final exam this school year - the written test will take place almost two weeks earlier than last year", the ministry informed. The specialist inspections are scheduled for May 30, 2025, and the written test is scheduled for July 8, 2025. The display of the initial results is scheduled for July 15, 2025, and on July 15 and 16, appeals can be submitted. The display of the final results is scheduled for July 21, 2025.
The granting of the finalization and the title of teacher with the right to practice in pre-university education represents the recognition of the skills necessary for the exercise of the teaching profession. Following the entry into force of the National Education Law no. 1/2011, starting with the 2012 session, the finalization exam in education became a national exam.
