The Ministry of Housing and Regional Development (MDRL) yesterday issued a press release announcing that Minister Vasile Blaga made the decision to postpone the payment of holiday bonuses to the employees of the Ministry.
According to the press release, this decision will remain in effect until the government adopts a clear stance on the issue of holiday bonuses for employees of the various ministries.
Following court ruling and the provisions of the Emergency Decree no. 146/2007, in 2008, the Ministry paid unpaid bonuses for the 2001-2006 period, the press release says.
