The Agency for Regional Development - Center and the Alba County County are preparing to sign a financing agreement needed to complete a county road (DJ 107M) between Aiud and Buru within a project intended to develop the tourism and economic potential of Aiud Valley through the rehabilitation of the transportation infrastructure. According to an estimate by the Alba County Council dated 16 November 2007, the budget for the rehabilitation of DJ 107M is 27,773,512 RON, of which 21,943,167 RON will come from the European Union as non-reimbursable financing. The section up for rehabilitation measures 25 kilometers. The road connects two other county roads (DN 1 and DN75) crossing seven communities in an area of a rich tourism potential.
