EnglishThe Ministry of the Economy did not report yesterday any disruption in supplying households with natural gas, saying that everything was within normal parameters. In a press release sent to our editors, the natural gas consumption yesterday reached 66.5 million cubic meters, of which 32.1 din care 32,1 million cubic meters were produced domestically, 25.6 million cubic meters were extracted from gas deposits, and 8.8 million cubic meters from imports made through the Isaccea station. Pressure in the gas transport grid was within normal limits. Electrothermal power plants which were switched to alternative fuels, are operating within normal parameters, as natural gas is directed towards household. The Ministry of the Economy announced that the amount of gas imported are within the terms of the medium and long term contracts concluded with natural gas importers, and that the volume of imported gas may fluctuate within the admitted contractual limits, depending on the recorded temperatures.
Gas imports reach 8.8 million cubic meters
