Mittal Steel Hunedoara invested 2,5 million USD in de dolari in 2005 - 2006 in equipment acquisition and the modernization of a production facility. The investment program will continue in 2007 by completing the construction of a steel treatment facility.
The company has a share capital of 133,99million RON. In June 2006, the majority shareholder was Mittal Steel Holding with 86,58%, while SIF1 Banat-Crişana controlled 11,05%. Mittal Steel Hunedoara concluded 2005 with a turnover of 584,98 million RON and loss of 75,86 million RON.
