EnglishBritish property developer Modus Properties in partnership with Nova Imobiliare will build the largest shopping center in Bucharest. The company will develop over 162.000 sqm of commercial and leisure spaces in the Colosseum Center, the largest commercial project announced so far in Bucharest. Carrefour has already signed a lease contract for 15.000 sqm.
The total value of the investment will amount 450 million EUR. In the first phase, the company will complete 54.261 sqm of the retail park by summer 2009. Colosseum Center will comprise a great variety of stores, 16 movie theaters, leisure spaces, restaurants, bars, cafes, and 8.000 parking spaces.
Modus Properties is one of the largest property developers in the UK and one of the leaders in the field of urban regeneration.
