Mondial SA is a market leader in its field, holding a 45% market share. Following last year"s financial results, the company has budgeted investments of 1.3 million EUR for 2007.
The company owns a ceramic tile plant in Lugoj which employs over 990 people. So far, Villeroy& Boch has invested 25 million EUR in the Romanian ceramic tile producer. Investments were mainly focused on the production process and company infrastructure.
The majority shareholder in Mondial SA is Villeroy & Boch AG, one of the world"s largest ceramics producers, with 99,56% in the company.
