EnglishThe Ministry of Development yesterday launched an open request for projects for Axis 1 of the Regional Operational Programme (POR) "Supporting the Sustainable Development of Cities - Urban Pillars of Growth," - major intervention domain 1.1 - Integrated Urban Development Plans," sub-domain "Growth Pillars." The estimate budget for the growth pillars in 2007 - 2013 is 621.27 million EUR. According to a press release to BURSA, the funds are available for Brasov, Cluj Napoca, Constanta, Craiova, Iasi, Ploiesti and Timisoara. The list of eligible applicants includes local authorities (county and city authorities), associations for inter-community development, partnerships between local administrations. Applications for financing under the POR can be submitted until 2012.
