EnglishTarkul Estates Ltd. holds 5.39% in insurer ASIROM, according to an announcement released by RASDAQ on Tuesday. Waterwe Ventures Ltd. bought 9.5% in the insurer (60,900,000 shares) from Broadhurst Investments Ltd for over 38.97 million RON (11.95 million EUR). Broadhurst on Friday sold a total of 91.35 million ASIROM shares (14.32%) for 58.46 million RON (17.9 million EUR) for a price 8 times higher than the face value.
The shares were sold through two transactions. The first was concluded for 0.64 RON/share (20% below the latest price of 0.8 RON) and decreased the company"s capitalization from 510 million RON to 408 million RON (124.7 million EUR, 168.27 million USD). Later on, on May 24th, Broadhurst announced the sale of 0.6% in ASIROM for 0.64 RON/share equal to 2.49 million RON.
