The Romanian subsidiary of TNT NV posted over 25 million EUR in turnover in 2006, maintaining its position as leader on the Romanian courier market. In 2007, TNT aims at a 30% growth. In the past few years, 12-15% of revenues are directed towards investment projects. TNT Romania has a market share of 49%, according to company representatives.
TNT Romania"s estimates are based on the market increase, mainly due to the increase in international trade, and also on the company"s development strategy.
TNT operates in over 220 countries and is active in Romania since 1991.
With over 48.000 employees worldwide, the group reported sales worth 2,9 billion EUR in the first half of 2006. TNT Romania has some 400 employees and 200 offices in main Romanian cities.
