EnglishShareholders in forwarding company Astra - Pitesti (RASDAQ:ASTR) have approved a 60 million RON (17.6 million EUR) increase in share capital to 61.03 million RON (17.95 million EUR) according to an announcement to RASDAQ. The company will issue 24 million shares with a face value of 2.5 RON. Shareholders registered as such by November 8th will be able to subscribe 58.2 new shares for every existing share.
Astra currently has a share capital of 1.03 million RON (302,900 EUR) divided into 412,300 shares with a face value of 2.5 RON. The passenger transportation company is controlled by the Employee Association with 83.63%. The Q1 turnover amounted to nearly 2 million RON, up by 46.5% y/y. The H1 net profit was 18,100 RON, compared to losses of 145,000 RON in the year-ago period. Astra is listed on RASDAQ as ASTR and has a market value of 7.83 million RON (2.3 million EUR) as per the latest quotation of 19 RON dated October 18th.
