EnglishGedeon Richter Romania on Tuesday inaugurated its pharmaceutical logistics centre located in Corunca, Mures County. The construction work started in 6006 as part of the company"s expansion plan. The investment amounted to 9 million USD.
The logistics centre stretches on 45,000 square meters, of which the built surface totals 13,000 square meters. In addition to the storage and logistics infrastructure, the centre also includes an office building, which will host the headquarters of Gedeon Richter Farmacia and retailer Armedica Trading SRL, as well as the marketing department of Gedeon Richter Romania.
Hungary"s Gedeon Richter Plc. is one of the largest drug producers in Eastern Europe. Last year, the company"s sales reached 1 billion USD.
