EnglishPrivate clinic chain Medcenter posted a turnover of 11 million RON in the first half of 2007, recording a 25% increase from the same period last year, according to a company announcement quoted by NewsIn.
Medcenter had over 30,000 patients in the first six months of the year and the most significant increase was recorded on the laboratory tests segment, due to recent investments in modern equipment, as well as the diversification of medical services.
Medcenter is part of the Medicarom Group and operates a notwork consisting of eight medical centers and seven laboratory tests centers in Bucharest, Buzau, Focsani, Braila, Iasi, Baia Mare and Cluj. The company plans to open tree new centers by year-end and expects a turnover of 24 million RON in 2007. Last year, Medcenter posted 17 million RON in turnover.
