EnglishProprietate Fund has subscribed 11.71 million EUR worth of Transgaz shares within an IPO in order to maintain their stake within the natural gas pipe operator. Proprietatea CEO Alexandru Paunescu had previously annnounced intent to maintain the Fund"s 15% in Transgaz after the IPO. The IPO preceeds Transgaz" listing on the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BSE). Fondul Proprietatea subscribed 207,572 shares for 56.43 EUR/share. At the moment the Fund has some 250 million RON in deposits made with BRD SocGen, Banca Comerciala Romana and Raiffeisen. Investors who subscribe Transgaz shares within the IPO will pay the equivalent of 57 EUR/share, as per a decision made bythe shareholders last week.
