EnglishCar parts manufacturer Altur - Slatina estimates a gross profit of 4.22 million RON for this year, up three times from 2007. Altur went back in black last year with a net profit of 1.3 million RON (390,000 EUR), equal to the gross profit, after two consecutive years in the red.
The company is expecting revenues of 114.02 million RON, up by 7% y/y from 106.23 million RON (31.9 million EUR). Expenses are likely to gain nearly 5% to 109.79 million RON from 104.93 million RON (31.5 million EUR) in 2007. The company is planning to borrow up to 10 million RON and make investments of 8.57 million RON.
Altur shareholders rejected 24 April a motion to increase share capital by 22% to 100.47 million RON through a capital injection. If the motion had carried, the company would have issued 180.33 million shares with a face value of 0.1 RON.
