EnglishAustrian furniture retailer Kika will open their first store in Romania this year, after having surveyed the market last year. Last September, the company announced plans to open stores in Bucharest (West Park), Oradea and Timisoara. Earlier last year, the company borrowed 50 million EUR from Immoconsult Leasinggesellschaft, the real estate leasing arm of Investkredit Bank, to build three stores in Romania. The first is planned to be opened in Bucharest, over an estimated surface of over 28,000 square meters. Kika is already present in Austria, Slovakia, Croatia, the Czech Republic and Hungary.
