EnglishSC Moldoforest SA - Iasi has reported Y2006 losses of 901,938 RON from revenues of 2,809,782 RON and expenses of 3,711,720 RON. A year before, the company had reported losses of 998,088 RON and a turnover of 2,955,594 RON. In 2004, Moldoforest posted a net profit of 1,636,195 RON and a turnover of 6,440,827 RON.
The shareholders have authorized a credit line of 1 million RON collateralized with two buildings and land totaling 15,927 sq.m. They also decided to plot of land of 62,000 sq.m. and the buildings on it (former production halls) in Lunca Cetatuii.
The lumber & furniture company was established over 40 years ago and turned private in July 2002, when the State sold 88.6% to businessman Maricel Popa for 1.05 million RON.
