EnglishHolcim Romania posted 207 million RON in gross profit for last year, up by 41% from the 147 million RON announced for 2005. Last year"s turnover is 774.7 million RON, up by nearly 30% from 2005. The company invested some 57 million EUR in a number of technological upgrades and environment care programs, as well as in OH&S programs and social programs. Holcim Romania operates three cement factories, 15 environmentally friendly concrete plants and 4 aggregates plants operated by some 1,300 employees in total.
