EnglishIndustrial equipment manufacturer UCM Resita cut its losses by 19,7% to 21.14 million RON in the first six months, as the company reduced its operating losses by 26.52% to 19.11 million RON. Turnover totalled 51.7 million RON, down 6.26% from the first half of 2006.
Total revenues amounted to 65.18 million RON in the first half of 2007, recording a 22.03% increase from the same period last year. Expenses rose by 8.25% to 86.32 million RON. The company estimates a turnover of 163.06 million RON for the current fiscal year, while gross profit should reach 8.54 million RON.
UCM Resita manufactures engines and turbines and has a share capital of 9.42 million RON, divided into shares with a face value of 0.1 RON. The majority shareholder is Inet AG with 96.39% in the company.
