EnglishAgricover, the main player on the Romanian agribusiness market, reported a turnover of 74,587,767 RON for the first four months of the current year, up 25% from 59,438,430 RON in the same period last year. Net profit totaled 4.5 million RON in the period January-April 2007, an 84% increase compared with 2.4 million RON in the similar period last year.
For this year, the company estimates a turnover of 320 million RON, increasing by 60 million RON from 2006. Profit is expected to increase by 5% this year, amounting to 14 million RON.
