EnglishQuatar-based Doha Bank has announced plans to open representative offices in Romania, Germany and South Korea in 2008, according to Executive Manager R. Seetharaman, quoted by gulf-times.com. The bank will also open a branch in Kuwait City in the first quarter of the year. "We have already received the necessary permits from the regulatory authorities," Seetharaman said. The formal opening of the Doha Bank branch in Dubai will take place in March, in the presence of dignitaries from Qatar and the UAE. For the moment, Doha Bank operates in New York, Singapore, Tokyo, Shanghai and Istanbul.
