EnglishThe Government has decided to empower the Ministry of Public Finance to support the conclusion of the Agreement with Franklin Templeton Investment Management, Government spokesperson Ioana Muntean yesterday announced, as quoted by Agerpres.
"The Government decided to authorize the Ministry of Public Finances to back the signing of the contract with Franklin Templeton Investment Management Fund and to submit the final draft of the agreement to the next meeting of the Government", Ioana Muntean said.
Templeton Investment Management Ltd was selected as the manager of the assets of the Proprietatea fund, following the decision of the selection commission.
Franklin Templeton Investments is an American investment fund established in 1947 in New York, and since 1973 has been headquartered in San Mateo (California).
