"The government and the business sector must find policies to allow easy access to funding"

"Lack of financing kills five SMEs a day"

Developing the SME sector is a priority, and the government, together with the business sector and with the market, must create policies to allow easy access to funding, because a major problem the sector currently is currently faced with is lack of funding, according to the statements of Mrs. Cristina Chiriac, the president of the National Association of Entrepreneurs.

"Lack of funding kills five SMEs a day", Mrs. Chiriac warned.

The National Association of Entrepreneurs official also emphasized that the business sector is faced with the lack of credibility of the state among businesspeople: "The government no longer has any credibility in the private sector. For example, the government is now discussing the budget. We are trying to set up our own budget as well, but the taxation system is changing, which affects the viability of a company's plans. The profit we are forecasting is in danger".

Mrs. Chiriac said that an entrepreneur's goal is to turn out a profit, meaning that companies need predictable fiscal policies and the elimination of bureaucracy. "We need simple and clear information", said Cristina Chiriac, who thinks that the business sector and the authorities can find solutions for promoting entrepreneurship, together.
