EnglishThe ordinance regarding the establishment of the Romanian National Air Transportation Company - TAROM has been approved, including a new article. According to the Ministry of Transportation, the article regulates the terms under which the Ministry can decide that one of the administrations be a Romanian or foreign legal entity in order to accelerate the reorganization of TAROM.
Such legal entity would be selected through a tender and would sign a contract that would cover a number of regulated aspects: rights, obligations, performance, termination and remuneration. During the period when one of the administrators is a legal entity, the Board will comprise three members: a representative of the Ministry (chairman), a representative of the Ministry of Economy and Finance (member) and a representative of the administrator - legal entity.
