The Minister of Health, Alexandru Rogobete, announced during the 64th National Congress of Cardiology held in Sinaia that Romania will develop a new certificate in sports cardiology, in partnership with the French Society of Cardiology. The central theme of the congress was hypertension, a major public health problem, and the event brought together hundreds of specialists from the country and abroad.

”Premiere for Romania”

"We will develop a new certificate in sports cardiology, in partnership with the French Society of Cardiology. It is a first step for Romania, which I will personally support and which will open new perspectives for Romanian medicine,” said Alexandru Rogobete. The official highlighted the dedication of Romanian doctors, whom he described as "professionals who carry out their profession with dignity, even if, many times, the system was not or is not on their side”.

Dialogue with the medical industry

In addition to participating in the congress, the Minister of Health also had meetings with representatives of the medical industry on Saturday. "I thank them for understanding the current financial situation and for remaining with us. I ask them to continue to be fair, transparent and involved partners, because we all have the same objective: to do good to people”, Rogobete said.
