EnglishFor 2012, the Kogălniceanu program has 1,200 million lei available for issuing guarantees. The guarantee may amount to up to 80% of the loan, but not exceed 100,000 lei of the line of credit.
The guarantee in the name and on behalf of the State will be issued at the request of the Bank, after its approval of the loan, and only if the beneficiary of the program lacks sufficient guarantees to access a line of credit. 13 commercial banks provide lines of credit with partially subsidised interest within the Kogălniceanu program.
